Sauteed Zucchini & Onions
This Sauteed Zucchini & Onions is the perfect low carb side dish. Easy, delicious, and weeknight-friendly. As the zucchini and onions are cooking in one skillet I have another going with boneless chicken breasts. Before I know it, both have finished and it's time to eat!

Sauteed Zucchini & Onions
Sauteed Zucchini and Onions in butter and seasoned to taste.

- Melt butter in 12-inch stainless steel or cast iron skillet.
- Add zucchini and onion and saute until tender.
- Season to taste.
NOTES:
Tamari is optional for this recipe but does add a nice flavor. If you are adding Tamari you will want to add your salt after you add the Tamari since Tamari is gluten-free soy sauce. And soy sauce is salty to begin with. Also, using a cast iron or stainless steel skillet for this dish puts a nice caramelization on the veggies which really ups the flavor. Using a non-stick skillet just isn't the same. Although it will be delicious no matter what skillet you use.
